Clinical Instructor Feedback

“It has been such a pleasure working with Brittany over the past 3 months and watching her skills grow and flourish. She is now able to confidently and independently manage the most complex patients on my caseload. Her patient/family education skills, evaluation, behavior management and time management skills have all grown to a level someone that is well beyond entry level. She has risen to the occasion of treating multiple, complex patient caseloads (pelvic floor, developmental, torticollis, ONRT, IP-OP and locomotor intensive). She is not only able to manage all of these caseloads, but is able to bring information from pelvic floor and use it in other appointment type when appropriate. She has been a sponge for information and is able to quickly adapt the information and start implementing it into practice. I truly feel that I have learned as much from Brittany as I hope she has learned from me. She has made such a positive impact on my own practice. I truly hope Brittany pursues pediatric pelvic floor therapy in her career, because I think I have witnessed her find a calling over this rotation.”

-Amanda Tillinghast, DPT, PCS, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

“It was so great working with Brittany for her final rotation, we are definitely going to miss having her around! She quickly adjusted to a difficult clinical rotation and adapted to a fast past environment. Brittany has gone above and beyond during this clinical demonstrating a strong commitment to learning. She has grown so much as a clinician over the past few months and has tackled various patient specialties with openness. I am so excited to see where she goes next in her career. Any clinic will be lucky to have her!

-Alyssa Ruben, DPT, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

“Brittany's professionalism, empathy, and warmth in patient and staff communication is remarkable and will make her an incredible Doctor of Physical Therapy in whichever setting she ultimately decides to practice. It was a joy to have her in the clinic for 8 weeks. The Bellingham team and her patients will miss her!”
